Intel was the gold standard for computer processors until AMD came along and now the market is split. The battle between the both continues and which one do you choose? Read more for some sweet hightlights between Intel and AMD.
"You get what you pay for" Though AMD' prices are almost half when compared to Intel, their processors cannot come closer to Intel's performance. Intel stays stable at high calculations but AMD logs down. AMD generates twice as much of heat when compared to Intel and this makes you end up with big fans in CPU making lot of noises.
So if you need a very quiet, yet highly powerfull computer and don't mind throwing away lot of bucks, go for intel.
If you need a decent computer and dont care about however hot it gets and dont expect yourselves to do high end computing such as high-definition graphic designing or Visual Studio programming but just want to browser some websites, send emails, listen to music, watch movies, go for AMD!
At the end its your choice! And don't forget that processor alone will not matter everything for speed. The RAM also takes equal weight. Why? RAM is many times faster to read and write compared to hard-drives. More RAM you have, less slow the PC is.
