The wireless Media Stick from HSTi comes in the form of a USB dongle, which is a smart little device shelters 802.11a/b/g/n, and throws a crafty scheme to stream content wirelessly from your Wi-Fi enabled PC to a TV-connected AV device or media player, digital frames, hi-fi stereos, and gaming consoles. Just plug a stick in to your computer and install the pre-loaded software. It is as easy as pie to choose the folders for sharing, when it is connected to the wireless router. For example, you can connect the HSTi Wireless Media Stick to the USB port of your Blue-Ray player, which permits the player to grab content wirelessly from your Wi-Fi enabled PC/laptop. Or else, you can just connect it to a USB port of your digital photo frame, so you can stream photo slideshows from your computer right to the device, via Wi-Fi.
Similar steps could be carried out with many computers but you'll require one stick for each. Plug in another stick to a device, which accepts mass storage devices, and now you are good to access all the shared files wirelessly on the network like a pen drive. As of now HSTi claims 720p video streaming and is compatible only with Windows OS. Isn't pretty interesting? Go and grab it only for $119.99, of course cheaper than Infinitec's IUM.
