We’re not really dying for a glimpse of ASUS’s AIR 3 sound machine but we can't deny a tinge of excitement in the air. For one, this is no path-breaking or never-been-done-before exercise but this iPod sound system manages to impress with its internet radio feature which is pretty rare in these contraptions.

The audio is totally superior with a Texas Instruments Class D amplifier, High Definition Sound Standard (HDSS) certified drivers and UPnP sharing support through WiFi or Ethernet. There’s also the talk of a S-video/composite video outs, in-built weather forecast display from the internet and the auxiliary input. Now, we’re clueless about the price or when we’d actually get to lay our hands on this one! At the moment, all we can say is very soon!
