Seven Samurai chip makers The recent innovative technologies try to speak a word about the "Green" environment. Very soon you can find a CPU, which consumes 30% the power of a standard CPU.

Do you know that the first microprocessor was released by Intel, nearly 4 decades back? It’s a real fact and even now the company dominates nearly eighty percent of the worldwide CPU market. Practically speaking, this is not a drastic improvement, when compared to electronics industry remake of The Magnificent Seven (an American remake of The Seven Samurai). NEC and Renesas together joint hands with Hitachi, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Panasonic, and Canon to flaunt a new CPU which is capable of existing Hironori Kasahara's "innovative energy-saving software."

By 2012, you can expect a CPU running with solar cells, and consumes power based on data usage. They have also targeted to unveil a CPU that is still awake ever during the power cut. This development would definitely drive the world towards green environment, and helps the industries to save money and energy.
