Compaq-AirLife-100 We all are familiar with Smartphones and Netbooks, what will be in your mind when hearing a term SMARTBOOK? Yes, of course the combination of SMARTphone and netBOOK. HP is into the business of Smartbook through Compaq.

Listed to the HP mini line, Compaq AirLife 100 is a Netbook which will run on Android OS with a CPU of 1 GHz Snapdragon from Qualcomm (rumored, not confirmed), and 16 GB SSD (Solid State Drive)memory internally, and a SD card slot for additional storage.

The 10.1” sized display is accompanied with a comparatively large keyboard which will size about 92% of a full sized device. Also it is integrated with Wi-Fi and 3G, and also a webcam and some shortcut keys around the track-pad.

Coming as a subsidized part of Telefonica carrier in the Europe and Latin America, we are not sure about the US launch. The AirLife 100 mini laptop running Android is expected to hit the market by this spring itself, we are not informed anything the pricing.
