e-Readers Coming From Samsung

Friday, 26 February 2010

Samsung e-reader We have informed you with our earlier post that Samsung is making a simpler iPad and here comes another confirmation. The models will be E6, E101 and E61 which you can see in the video below.

The first e-Readers from Samsung were announced in the CES press conference this January and the models were said as E6 and E101. The two models will feature 10-inch and 6-inch screens both will come out with a QWERTY keyboard and Wi-Fi.

Both the readers will have on-screen handwriting capabilities, Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11 Wi-Fi and the downside of the readers when observed is the unavailability of 3G facility. Both are comparatively thin in size and are sliders which will open up some additional features when pulled up.

Coming to the E61 model of e-Reader, it features an additional physical keyboard apart from the E6 and will come up with a 6” screen with 600x800 resolutions and will be packed with an additional battery as in E6.

e-Readers are demoed in a video given below and are seen to be pretty easy and fast in touch to use when compared to the others in the same list and they are expected to be hitting the market in the early 2010.
