The all new wiperless windshield is sure to knock out the wind in you! Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti and christened as the Hidra, this unique result of nanotechnology promises a wiperless future. The wiperless windshield has a sleek aerodynamic design coupled with nanotechnology to ensure that your windshield stays clear of water and debris. The first layer is designed to offer sun protection and acts as water repellant while the second layer comes with a coat of “nano-dust” to sweep dust to the edges of the wind screen. The third layer activates the second by sensing the dirt and the fourth layer powers the entire contraption by conducting electricity to keep it running without a hitch. Though this technology comes as good news to many, it is speculated that mass production would happen only within the time span of five years. A long wait, but surely one which would be totally worth it!
