The Microsoft Office alternative Google Docs are now to provide Cloud Storage for any type of files.With the so called GDrive from Google yet to be unveiled,Google Docs with cloud storage is so close to GDrives(but not exactly),if the informations are to be believed.

Google Docs provides you to upload any type of files and access them from the cloud storage.This will help you to access your power point presentation or word doc which is in your home PC. “Now accessing your work files doesn't require a connection to your internal office network” Anil Sabharwal with the Google Docs team, wrote in a blog.

You can access your files using Google Docs from any Web enabled Computer.By this facility you do not need to e-mail files to yourself, carry around a thumbdrive, or use a company network drive to access the files.Google offers a good storage space of 250MB,which,if needed can be extended by 1GBfor a cheap rate of $0.25 per year.

This new service from Google is certainly a temptation for the users to upload more and more files of yours into the Google servers.The most awaited service,GDrives, from Google can be kept aside for the time being by the emerging of this Google Docs service with Cloud Storage because it is as close to the “GDrives”.
