Netgear-wireless-kit Here’s what we call the wireless effect! Netgear is going all guns trying to bring every home network under its Wireless N umbrella. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the company had launched the Wireless N upgrade kit.

The kit includes a 5 GHz Wireless-N HD Access Point apart from the RangeMax Dual Band Wireless N USB adapter (remember its showcasing during the FCC?). Now, the access point can either work as an individual bridge (like the one we use in game consoles) or doubles up as a complete 5GHz Wireless N access point, especially when connected to the gateways.

Nothing of earth-shattering importance here, though we heard some weak rumors of a “patented metamaterial micro antennas” which pledge to go way beyond other adapters. Well, if that has impressed you, then all it takes is $149 to pocket this one.
