• A Display of 9.7 inch, 1024x786 (132PPI), LED Backlit IPS with capacitive touch and oleophobic coating.
• A RAM never less than 256 MB and coming in 16, 32 and 64 GB variant memories.
• The wireless connectivity comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. A variant of 3G also will be available. The iPad will also be using the new micro SIM cards for connectivity.
• It provides a headphone jack, 30- pin dock connector, built-in microphone and a built-in speaker.
• The battery life expected is up to 10 hours web surfing on Wi-Fi, listening to music or watching movie and over a month on Stand-by mode.
• Weighing about 1.5 and 1.6 pounds for Wi-Fi and 3G versions respectively, it is of the dimensions, 9.56x7.47x0.5 inches.

It also comes with a digital compass, A-GPS on-board for the 3G version and both variants have an accelerometer and ambient light sensor. The Wi-Fi models are expected to be shipping in late this March and the 3G version will be coming in this April. Most amazingly the price starts at just 499 USD.
