Toshiba has introduced 80 GB and 120 GB hard drives of size less than your finger', just 1.8 inches and it allows data transfer at a speed of 489 Mbits/sec. Read on to find out more about these hard drives.

Toshiba is a name which has been dominating the electronics arena for quite sometimes. As they continue to innovate, new products would continue to hit the markets. The latest addition is the 120GB MK1216GSG and 80GB MK8016GSG which follow the latest specifications laid down by SATA 2.6. There is also a micro-SATA connector thrown in for good measure. What’s more, the 5,400 RPM units weigh no more than 62 grams and come with 8GB cache which allows data transfer at 489 Mbits/sec. Though the pricing is not released yet, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how much this would cost.
