Just a while ago, we’d heard that Verizon is all set to partner with Apple to bring out the very next iPhone on the former’s 3G network.

But, we now hear that Verizon is actually considering a deal with HP and this is more than true! HP’s Mini 1000 netbook is all set to debut on May 17th and looks pretty normal.

We’re staring at a not-so-exciting Atom processor, XP configuration and an in-built modem. The price tag on this one is $299 on rebate with a two year data contract in place.

But hey, a word of advice, this one isn’t worth all those bucks which you’d unnecessarily spend on the worthless contract.

The mobile browser power house, the Norwegian based Opera are into the iPhone which had not allowed any third party browsers coming to it for a long time. We hope this doesn’t end up like another Flash is coming to iPhone story after all.
