Palm is definitely surviving. What makes us think based on the name "Pre"? It should definitely be something like a prelude and they sure must have some cool looking devices lined up for 2009 based on the same beautiful OS they made with linux underhood. Looking at the specs, we've got a 3.1" 24-bit color 480 x 320 display with a dedicated gesture area below it, slide-out qwerty keyboard, GPS, WiFi, high speed HSDPA connectivity, 3 megapixel camera with LED flash and "extended depth of field", 3.5mm headphone jack, 8GB Internal Storage, proximity sensors, light sensors, g-sensor and every other possible thing you can expect to fit in your pocket is packed into a puch with Palm Pre. A very modern, clean and cool looking fluid interface with transitions like deck of cards, sure to win the smartphone war for Palm. They atleast survived the hit faced after Windows Mobile! Palm has signed up for exclusive distribution with Sprint for the first half of 2009 and later plans to expand with other carriers as well. Related Items:Auto Disconnect After Charge C
