Well, if you thought that you’d have to wait for ages to witness the new 3G iPhone from Apple, then you’d surely love this one! The much hyped device has at last made a grand entry.

Apple’s taken the previous shortcomings rather seriously and the result is the sleek 3G iPhone with thinner edges, iPhone 2.0 firmware, flush headphone jack and the full plastic back. What’s more, this beauty would be up on the store fronts internationally.

We’re sure that the following bit would make you whoop with joy! The 3G speeds are faster than the other devices on the market and is 36% faster than the N95 or the Treo 750 while making the EDGE seem rather outdated. 

The A-GPS is yet another highlight which gives you better navigation by supplementing the regular satellite GPS data with information from towers for faster location search. The Wi-Fi is also a part of the navigation system which makes it an impossible task to get lost, at least on this planet.

The front facing camera is missing but that’s a small flaw considering the complete picture. The 8GB version in elegant black is up for grabs for $199 while the 16 GB version is slated to go on sale for $299. Apple’s eyeing 22 markets worldwide and this can mean only one thing-more sleepless nights for the other electronic giants!
