Intel's hype on the latest MID's are not finding many takers. The reason? Ridiculously high pricing! Read on.

 The fact that the MIDs have aroused the interest of the tech community up by a few notches is bound to fall flat considering their pricing blitzkrieg.  The Gigabyte M528 is up for grabs with the pre order being thrown open. The 800MHz Atom Processor, 8GB SSD and 512MB of RAM are drool-worthy but the price (AU$ 1199/$1131) is something which has not pleased many technocrats.  Moreover, the Linux core pathetically fails to impress! Now, who would want to waste their precious bucks on this one?
