Modu - Future Phones

Tuesday, 10 February 2009

moduHow often do you switch phones? With modu, you just switch your jackets. Modu plans to bring next generation to mobile phones but shuts-up when we dig deeper.

Modu was the name coined after the concept of modular phone desgined by the same company who pioneered the USB Flash drive which was later sold to SanDisk.

The real modu device being smaller than the iPod, can still be able to make calls and hold contacts along with other basic information. However, it's functionalities or features can be extended when plugged into few more devices called modu Jackets.

With this concept, it's like you have a basic phone and carry around extra gadgets like MP3 players and sorts. We hardly think it would work out when the big boys break heads bringing all features in ONE device!

I wouldn't want to carry a jacket for each function, I may need a new bag for all of them!
