Who said that beauty is just skin deep? Nokia proves the adage wrong by launching the “Beautiful to Use” trio of handsets- Nokia 6660 slide, 6600 fold and 3600 slide. Living its name, the handsets are incredibly joyful to use. The 6600 fold (€250) arches open smoothly with a slight press of the button revealing the 2.13 inch OLED display which flaunts 16 million colours!

Tap commands are the crowning glory of these devices. A double tap on the monolithic cover when the phone is switched off flashes the time, messages received and missed calls. Similarly, a double tap snoozes alerts and rejects or silences phone calls.

The 6600 Slide (€275) flaunts the same tap technology but beefs up the camera quality from 2 to 3.2 megapixel and upgrades to the 2.2 inch QVGA display with the LCD technology. The 3600 Slide (€175) sports the same camera with an in built noise cancellation feature which is a debut of sorts in any Nokia handset. Breathtakingly beautiful, won’t you say?
