Satio a.k.a Idou is Sony's Mascot

Tuesday, 30 June 2009

Satio-Sony Sony Ericsson has blown our minds away with Yari and Aino but the carnage isn’t over yet!

The Satio (formerly known as Idou) completes the cycle and leaves us impressed. Now, the Satio is Sony’s mascot device for the year and packs in a stylishly elegant 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 x 360p.

We have spotted a 12.1-megapixel camera with auto focus, 12x digital zoom and xenon flash for those perfect pictures. The phone flaunts 128 MB of internal memory with 8GB microSD expansion card thrown in to handle your memory requirements.

The Satio flaunts a WebKit-powered browser and an on-screen QWERTY keyboard to add a touch of functionality. There is aGPS with turn-by-turn navigation, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM radio with RDS. The operating system on this one will be a Symbian S60 5th edition OS to deliver the thrills!

Now, coming to the other exciting factors, like the colors, you can pick between silver, black or Bordeaux.
