Good ol Skype gets even better with the new Java version which was tested in over 50 handsets and capable on many more devices.
Trashing the competition (Smartphone and 3 Skypephone), Skype has released (finally!) a program for mobile Java. Grapevine has it that this makes the versatile VoIP equipped to be used on myriad varieties of phones. Skypes flaunting the claim that theyve tested it on over 50 handsets and they emphasize that it can work on many others too. In spite of the miniscule scaled down size, the program manages to pack a hard punch with support for Skype-to-Skype and SkypeOut calls, chat, group chat and pretty much everything else to render it usable. Now, thats surely a thumbs up for Skype!
