After all the fuss created by the Symbian and other OS of such cadre, its time for Android to make heads turn. The tech zone has not witnessed a single device with an Android platform yet. But that’s about to change! Android is the hottest thing right now on the tech circuit but unless it proves its mettle, business is sure to stagnate.

Android has protected itself remarkably well. The QuickOffice (seen in other devices such as Palm, S60 and UIQ users) is found on Android. This can mean only one thing! Accessing those all-important Office documents enabling viewing and editing is now possible on Smartphones not powered by Windows Mobile. Android plans to equip their users with the same powerful tool.

Surprisingly, though Android would still take a couple of months to hit the market, the QuickOffice stuff is there for all to see! Moreover, the clinching factor is the integration of the Soonr’s technology to enable faster access to documents while on the move. Now, that makes Android based devices totally lucrative! There’s no clue on the release date yet but if we’re to believe the buzz, Android powered devices would hit the markets in the near future.
