We know that Mozilla Firefox has already grabbed the attention of the IE users, and its awesome features turned many IE lovers to switch over. While this is happening on one side, the newly updated Songbird 1.4.2 has targeted to eliminate iTunes on the other side. This new media player is positively packed to the rafters with numerous additional features that include:
Additionally, Songbird has the dimensions to support not only iPods but also any Mass Storage Class (MSC) device, and has the competence to write metadata to WMA and AAC files, which are imported from iTunes. Though the application flaunts unexampled features, it also contains some small curable bugs. The iTunes imported files cannot be transferred back to iTunes, and the CD ripping and MSC syncing are featured by only for Windows, and not for Linux and MAC. Moreover, Songbird doesn't officially support Windows 7. Hope Mozilla will rule out these bugs in the future updates. Just forget the negative aspects of Songbird, and try it in your system. We promise you that the peculiarity of the software will flaunt you an unforgettable experience. Only registered users can write comments!
