MailBrowserBackup is an opensource freeware that furnishes a simple way to backup multiple web browsers and email clients. This portable utility allows you to take complete backups of browsers including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, SRWare Iron, IE (just the favorites), Opera (browser profile and mails), safari, and Mozilla Thunderbird. Various email clients like Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Outlook 2003/2007, and Instant Messengers such as Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Messenger Plus!, and Pidgin are supported by MailBrowserBackup.

Additionally, the backup of FileZilla FTP Client, Notepad++, Windows Contacts and Windows Calendar could be easily taken with MBB. Restoration of backed up contents is very simple and speedy process. Before starting the backup process, it is advisable to close all the applications. Otherwise, error message will be thrown until you close those. MailBrowserBackup supports only the Windows OS with .NET Framework 2.0.
