Organizing your desktop icons is no more an oxymoron. The new utility called Fences unveils an incredibly approachable option to increase the look and feel of your desktop screen. As the name indicates, Fences arranges your cluttered desktop icons into containers so that the jumble could be cleaned into useful groups of shortcuts or optionally hides them altogether to offer attractive, minimal, organized groups. Once after installation, the app flaunts some beginner screens which allows you to choose one of its built-in layouts and automatically detects & chooses the icons that has to be placed inside the Fence. Modifying any of the fences is pretty simple. All you need to do is just move or resize them, and lock them finally. Additionally, two thumbnails are viewed, one at the left which exhibits my cluttered test desktop before, and the one at the right, which flaunts the default organizer layout generated by Fences. Finally, it offers an awesome quick-hide feature. Just double click your desktop, and all your icons will fade out. This utility is a freeware which works on Windows XP 32-bit and Windows 7 or Vista in both 32-bit/64-bit versions. Only registered users can write comments!
