Who wouldnt want to keep a track of expiry dates of food items they purchase? Now, Say a big good bye to manual tracking through papers and boards. Donation Coder forum has unveiled a simple and effective way to track food quantities and its expiry dates, with their new interesting software called Waste Not. Though the software is really a new approach, it requires a little bit of manual effort. Waste Not contains a simple table and tracks five information/food items. You have options to enter food item name, date of expiry, owner, share, and location in to the software. Editing the list is also pretty easy with this program with a simple drop down button. Color coding is one of the elegant features here. Refrigerated food, food expired or about to expire, good for short period, and good for longer time gets the color of blue, red, yellow, and green respectively. Waste Not is compatible only with Windows OS, and also provides you an option to export the table to a csv file. Only registered users can write comments!
