Have you ever been into a position where you can see an application open in the taskbar, but cant see it in your Desktop? Restarting of your PC might not help the occasion, because, the inaccessible program window might have some unsaved data.
It may happen to you sometimes, in some cases, when you open a program that alters your resolution or the disconnection of your laptop from a secondary display before dragging the windows back to your primary desktop.
To do it in Windows 7:1.Click the window, which is not seen in the Desktop, to focus it (or click Alt + Tab). Then press and hold the Windows button on your keyboard and tap the arrow keys. Sometimes by luck you can retain the missing window.
2.Select the application window by clicking it on the taskbar, and tap Alt + space to open a menu on the missing window. But still you will not be able to see the window, but you can work with it. Now press M on the keyboard to select Move on the menu and then with the arrow keys, put back the windows to your Desktop.
3.If nothing will help you, right click on your taskbar and select Cascade Windows.
For regaining the same in Vista and earlier versions:
1.Right click on the program in your taskbar for selecting Move. Using the arrow keys move the window.
2.It can also be done with aright click on the taskbar and choosing Cascade Windows.
