Microsoft is preparing to unveil the Messenger (Beta version) for Mac 8. You can expect the release by March 2010. This latest version would encompass the A/V support, which has been made possible by the tremendous effort of the Mac team at Microsoft. After the release, Mac users would really enjoy a flawless audio conversations and webcam sharing not only with the other Mac users but also with their Windows users.
Actually, Microsoft should have released this beta version last year, but was postponed due to the difficulties in embedding and connecting the A/V code on the Windows Live servers. However, if they release the product by March, as promised, then it's the Mac users who are going to have a ground-breaking enjoyment with the Messenger.
