Teaming up with Verizon for the Tablet will be the Apples first that with any service provider other than AT&T. Also Verizon is capable of providing the most powerful 3G, than, any other service provider in the US now. Verizon is also quite confident in handling the increased data traffic that an Apple device usually gets. According to the reports, initial plans include subsidies from Verizon in order to lock the customers for a multi-year wireless contract while bringing down the upfront cost to customers for the device, which is expected to carry a premium price tag. One thing to be taken into account is that, in any case the price tag of the Apple Tablet would be much above the iPhone. That is why Apple is only aiming to produce only 2 million tablets this year, compared to the massive 10 million that of iPhone made last year. Only registered users can write comments!
