The iPhone OS 3.1 is getting updated, but don’t get over excited as we don’t have version 4.0 ready yet and the current update is just version 3.1.3 but also available for the iPod touch.
From the information we got, this update for iPhone and iPod contains some fixes and some improvements along with the following:
- Resolves the issue where the third party apps would not launch in some instances
- Improves the accuracy of the reported battery level on iPhone 3 GS
- Fixes bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard
The information says us that the compatible devices for this update are iPhone all models and iPod touch all models launched to date. Any way this updates seems good for us.
