Motorola announced yesterday about the launch of a new Android phone Motorola Devour which they believe will capture the market attention just like what Droid did for them in partnership with Verizon.
This time again, Moto Devour comes with Verizon Wireless network, and will be the first from their network to feature the Motoblur.
The Motoblur feature offers you to sync your contacts, images, e-mails messages and status updates, and not only that, it also allows you to bring your favorite content to your home screen without any logins with continuous updates, and no need of scaring it is safe too.
The Devour runs on Android 1.6 OS and so we cant expect a multi-touch facility. The main notable features of the Motorola Devour android phone are:
- 3.1 Capacitive Touch screen.
- Touch sensitive Navigation pad.
- Motoblur which offers Happening Widgets, Universal Inbox, and Back up and Security.
- Pre loaded apps such as Google Search, Gmail, Gtalk, YouTube and Google Maps.
- Android Market with over 20,000 apps.
- 8 GB microSD card pre installed.
- Bluetooth profiles supported.
To grab the most good services of the Devour, you will have to subscribe to Verizons either Nationwide Talk (begins at $39.99/month) or Nationwide Talk and Text (starts at 59.99 USD) plans and a Data Package ($29.99) for Smartphones.
Still unknown about the pricing of the Devour, the official report is that it will hit the markets by the next month.
