One of the problems faced by the Windows 7 users is while change from aero theme to another. Only the wallpaper and the sound changes but nothing else. Here comes a fix for it.

The Windows 7, Microsoft’s fast and stable OS ever, has many exciting themes included; also many terrific themes like 7 Up Windows, Avatar the Movie theme etc could also be downloaded as per our likes. But earlier it was suffering from a theme change issue which has now been fixed anyhow.

I will list the procedure for the fixation, even though the cause of the problem is still unknown. After the procedure done correctly, you will be able to apply any theme to your wish and play with it by interchanging with the other saved themes.

• Enter the Control panel window and get into Personalization area.
• From there apply Windows 7 basic theme.
• Go to My Themes and save the currently applied theme which is unsaved with some default name. It is Shown in the below screen shot.
• Now apply any of the themes with or without aero. It is now possible to return to the Windows 7 basic theme by clicking the theme you saved under my themes.
