Windows 7 has been a great success for Microsoft since it was launched last month as the sales figures have beaten every other top selling products in history and lately we just got a tip that the family pack edition is already sold out.

Microsoft did announce the limited availability of the Family pack edition of Windows 7 which is a steal at $150 USD for 3 licenses where a single upgrade license runs you for $110 USD. Now all the limited copies were sold out in the US.

But it is still available in other parts of the world like in UK. Even in the US, some eBay sellers have purchased the Family packs and reselling the same for a price above the retail value. Maybe it’s the eBay sellers who made the copies sold out? Or is it Microsoft who stopped the availability considering the activities of eBay sellers?
